Welcome to NJACE

Welcome to the NJACE website. The mission of NJACE is to enhance career development and employment opportunities in New Jersey. Members of NJACE are college career services professionals and employer recruiters. Together, we are creating partnerships to bring the best services to students, alumni, and employers of our state. NJACE members share programs with other member institutions and organizations, submit articles for the newsletter, search the NJACE member directory, participate in roundtables and conferences, enhance professional development, become a member of the Professional Network Directory, and share skills and talents as educators. Each month, a career services professional and an employer member will be highlighted on our front page.

NJACE will host its NJACE Directors’ Roundtable, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 – Rutgers University,
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Career Services Conference Room, Busch Campus Center in Piscataway.

Understanding tighter budgetary constraints for all, the registration fee for this Roundtable will be waived, consequently, breakfast and lunch will be on your own (registration fee covers breakfast and lunch for meetings).

As is customary, in order to better prepare for this meeting, we are asking you to confirmyour attendance to damiaoc@felician.edu by Thursday, July 2, 2009. Additionally, the agenda for the meeting is based on suggested discussion topics from everyone, as a result, please submit discussion topics by the aforementioned date as well.

On behalf of the NJACE Nominations Committee, we are pleased to announce the slate of candidates for the 2009 - 2010 NJACE Executive Board:

The election will be held from June 30 – July 13, 2009, and will be conducted by secret ballot via e-mail voting.

We invite member input on identifying qualified and motivated nominees and encourage each NJACE member to consider serving as a Board member to help NJACE remain vital and prosperous.  The guidelines and procedures for making nominations, and the board member and officer responsibilities are described in the CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FORM.
