On behalf of the 2011-12 Executive Board, I would like to thank you for your interest in the New Jersey Association of Colleges and Employers. NJACE is a professional association for career services professionals and employers who seek to hire students and alumni. Members participate in networking events, professional development programs and roundtables, serve on committees, and contribute to online discussions and the NJACE Newsletter.  We welcome your partnership with NJACE, and invite you to join our organization or renew your membership today!

NJACE is your professional association, and the Executive Board is here to work with you and address issues of importance in recruiting and career services. In the coming academic year, we will focus on the following goals and priorities:

• Continuing to provide quality professional development programming
• Maintaining our strong membership base and expanding our relationships with employers
• Updating NJACE marketing materials and the website
• Implementing the new roles and responsibilities outlined in the revised NJACE Constitution
• Promoting discussions and dialogue on the NJACE LinkedIn group

Please join us in these efforts! There are many opportunities to get involved and connect with colleagues. If you are not yet a member of the NJACE LinkedIn group, please join in the online conversation.

Please welcome our new Board members: Bob Franco, President-Elect/Vice President of Programming and Lynne Orr, Vice President of Communications. We appreciate the continued involvement of our returning board members, Alyssha Munt (Treasurer), Valerie Adams (VP of Marketing and College Relations) and Danielle Gargiulo (VP of Networking and Employer Relations).  I am beginning my term as President, and Carol Ruiz will share her programming expertise and knowledge as Past President.
